LAGOS-A national leader and a political bigwig of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has called former president Olusegun Obasanjo the greatest ‘election rigger’ of all times in Nigeria history.
The APC leader Bola Tinubu made the statement yesterday’s Saturday at the APC presidential rally in Lagos at the Teslim Balogun Stadium .
In Tinubu’s words: “When he was asked, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua admitted that the election which brought him into office was rigged.
“Who conducted that election? Obasanjo.
“Obasanjo is the greatest election rigger in this country.”
The event recorded the presence of the incumbent Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, National Leader of APC, Chief Bola Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, APC Lagos Governorship Candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, Gov. Atiku Bagudu, Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Kebbi, Oyo and Ekiti states, respectively.
