Bight News correspondence gathered that the Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has delivered the much anticipated judgement on Ese Oruru, a teenager reportedly abducted, taken to Kano State and forced into marriage by one Yinusa Dahiru.
The court which was presided by Justice Jane Inyang delivered the judgement which sentenced Dahiru to 26 years in prison yesterday.
Jane acquitted Dahiru on Count one but jailed him for five years on count two, seven years on count three, seven years more on count four and another seven years on count five which stood at a rally of 26years together.
The sentences, according to the judge would run concurrently.
