Woman, Lover Arrested For Allegedly Poisoning Husband
An Indian woman and her lover have been arrested for allegedly poisoning her husband to death, the police said on Wednesday.
The duo, who are absconding, allegedly killed Afsar Ali, 30, in Subhash Nagar locality in India for opposing his wife’s affair with the man, according to a complaint lodged by Ali’s brother, Nawab, reports Tribune India.
Bight News gathered that Ali was found dead in his house on July 9.
His wife had alleged that he committed suicide by consuming poison, a police official said.
A case of murder has been made against the suspects on Tuesday after police investigation, he added.
