Bight News – As the 2019 election draws closer, Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the flag bearer of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa West Senatorial District, has reemphasised the need for people of Bayelsa West Senatorial District to vote candidates of the People Democratic Party. Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo stressed the need while expressing profound gratitude to the people of Sagbama/ Ekeremor at a meeting of all political appointees in the Gov. Dickson led administration and stakeholders of the People Democratic Party in the senatorial district, held today, the 20th of December 2019 in Sagbama, the headquarters of Sagbama local government area.
Mr. Lawrence said, though no one is perfect and that as individuals no one can completely addressed the needs of the people, the Gov. Dickson led Restoration Government has made concerted efforts over the years to meet the infrastructural development of Bayelsa state, particularly the Sagbama / Ekeremor Local Government Areas. Adding that, it’s through the efforts of the People Democratic Party Led Government in the state that the people now have roads, bridges, schools and policies that is adding values to lives in the state.
Lawrence who enjoin the people of the Bayelsa West Senatorial District to vote massively for People Democratic Party, said the district like others in the state has achieved much from the PDP Government. And that voting for all her candidates in the coming elections will attract more development, particularly infrastructural development to the area, to make life meaningful for the people.
His words: “we will drive to Ekeremor town during the Christmas, efforts are in top gear to make it possible. Vote for PDP in all the elections to appreciate and commend Governor Dickson for what he has done.
In their separate remarks, Chief Francis Doupkola, Chief T. K. Okorotie, Hon. Fyneman Wilson, Hon. Solomon Aguala, enjoined the people of Bayelsa West to support and vote massively for the People Democratic Party. While commending Gov. Dickson, they acknowledged the impact his administration has made, that, supporting the party to win in the forthcoming elections in 2019 will enhance consolidation of infrastructural development and other dividends of democracy in the Senatorial District.
