ABUJA- The 14th January stipulated trial of Justice Walter Onnoghen; the Chief Justice Of Nigeria, has kicked off with Justice W. Onnoghen not present.
The trial which was set to hold by 10:am on Monday morning at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Abuja has commenced finding the CJN Onnoghen no where near the court vicinity yet.
The Chief Justice Walters Onnoghen is facing six charges, but most outstanding is hinging on failure to declare his assets and operating a domiciliary account, among other silent charges.
However,Bight news correspondent learnt that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, is represented by a league of legal practitioners led by Wole Olanipekun (SAN). 47 out of the lawyers are Senior Advocates of Nigeria and 47 other lawyers.
