Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the People Democratic Party (PDP) has lambasted the presidency for outrightly stating that former President Olusegun Obasanjo needs to see a doctor; an insinuation that suggests that Obasanjo is sick and that he needs to get well soon.
The presidency had reacted to the sixteen page letter written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo asking Nigerians never to reelect President Muhammadu Buhari in the forthcoming elections, giving ineptitude, nepotism etc as reasons. The presidency in a swift reply said that Obasanjo is a desperate politician, and that his administration was the worst Nigerians have ever had.
Meanwhile, Femi who said, anyone that says Obasanjo needs to see a doctor and that he should “get well soon” is deluded, in a swift reaction to the attack on the former President ,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, by the presidency, recommended urgent medical attention for Buhari.
He said: “anyone that says Obasanjo needs to see a doctor and that he should “get well soon” is deluded. It is not Obasanjo that stumbles whenever he mounts the podium.
“It is not Obasanjo that dribbles when he talks. It is not Obasanjo that cannot control his bowels. It is not Obasanjo that needs to be spoonfed.” Fani-Kayode said.
Trending reports have it that President Muhammadu Buhari almost collapsed recently in Kogi during All Progressive Congress Rally, which according to most Nigerians affirmed that the president is not fit for second term.
