The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson has congratulated the Governor òf Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and his Delta State counterpart, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on judgment affirming their elections at the Supreme Court.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Soriwei Fidelis, he commended the Supreme Court for the bold decision in favour òf the mandate of the people of the respective states.
Governor Dickson who is the outgoing Chairman òf the PDP Governors Forum said that, the judgment would give the expected relief to the Governors to focus on governance.
“With the final resolution of the electoral dispute in their favour, the Governors would now focus on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of their respective states” He said.
