Mr. Oweilaemi while wishing the Bayelsan born ijaw leader a huge success in his new office appealed to all sons and daughters of the Ijaw Nation to give the New Managing Director the necessary support that will help him to succeed. Adding that, the in fighting attitude is unhealthy for the growth of Niger Delta.

His words: “we wish to appeal to all sons and daughters of the Ijaw Nation to give the New Managing Director the necessary support that will help him to succeed. It is not good for our great people to continue our infightings. NDDC is the direct result of the sweat and blood of our great peopl, but it is so unfortunate that other ethnic groups in the Niger Delta have benefited far more than Ijaw people because of the culture and tradition of fighting ourselves, while other ethnic groups are developing and empowering their own people. This culture must stop if we must move forward as a great people.
