…Says Nigeria Has Come Of Age

YENAGOA-Bight Newspaper reports that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Sylva has sent salutations to stakeholders and all Nigerians on the occasion of 63rd Nigeria’s independence and 27th anniversary of Bayelsa State.

Chief Sylva who raised the hope of Bayelsans for what he described as imminent liberation in a statement released by his Media Assistant, Mr. Julius Bokoru, also said Nigeria has become of age to reach her full potentials.

The statement reads in part “Sylva salutes the courage of Bayelsans who have kept the creed and pride of the state intact despite years of leadership apathy.

” Bayelsans have emerged stronger in spite of economic wars waged against them by those whose duty it is to protect them. As Bayelsans we have overcome psychological wars designed to break our souls and shatter our collective dream that Bayelsa is the one true home that must be cherished and revered.

“Sylva believes in the indestructible nature of destiny, in the reality that our state is ripe and ready for that great leap to sustained progress, unity, peace and live up to the trajectory of the Glory of All Lands.”

The statement also read that “Sylva is certain that Nigeria has come of age and is set to become the Nation of everybody’s dream. While there have been Grey patches in our history, they have only served in making our country stronger and more united in the belief that we are all progressing towards a greater Nigeria.”

Appreciating Mr. President, the APC candidate stated “…thanks President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for his selfless leadership and his inspiring sense of patriotism and nationhood. Sylva believes our nation is on course for massive transformation.

“Sylva thanks the people of Bayelsa state for still holding tight to their belief that there is light at the horizon, for being perfect ambassadors of their state in every capacity, time or location. Sylva assures that the positivity of Bayelsans will count soon.”
