Sons and daughters of Ofoni Federated Communities in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State, who came out in their numbers to shown their own solidarity and to mobilise supports for the People Democratic Party in appreciation of what the Dickson led administration has done, expressed optimism that PDP will win in all the wards and units in their community.
The Bayelsa West Campaign Organisation of the People Democratic Party had campaigned in Ofoni, Toru Orua and Angalabiri communities on Thursday 7th February, 2019.
The DG of the campaign organisation, Mr Solomon Aguana and the party leadership enjoined the people of Sagbama constituency I to vote for candidates of the People Democratic Party in the forthcoming elections.
Mr Solomon Aguana said the party has done well by attracting developmental projects to the constituency, as such the people should show appreciation by giving block votes to the party.
In their separate remarks, Mr Vote Avworhiare, Mrs Ruth Arijovwode and Mr Jackson Oruvwohwo while addressing the mammoth crowd in Ofoni community, said the People Democratic Party Government in Bayelsa State has done well for Ofoni community.
They appreciated Governor Henry Seriake Dickson for using their son Mr Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo to attract infrastructural development to Ofoni community; highlighting some of the projects in the community. Like the ongoing Sagbama/ Ekeremor road, access roads and the faculty of agriculture, University of Africa Toru-Orua, and human development projects among others as the basis to support and deliver PDP in the forthcoming elections.
Addressing the mammoth crowd the Bayelsa West senatorial candidate, Mr Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo appreciated the entire community, particularly those who were out in their numbers to shown solidarity and unwavering supports to his candidacy and that of other candidates of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
Lawrence, while reiterating that his party candidates are credible capable and competent encouraged the people of Ofoni, Angalabiri and Toru Orua communities to vote massively for his party PDP in all the elections.
According to him, the PDP government has brought infrastructural development to Ofoni and other communities in the constituency. That the only way to consolidate on the restoration government achievements is by voting massively for all the candidates in the forthcoming elections.
