The candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo has asked the electorates in Ogbotobo community in Ekeremor local government area to vote for its party candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Mr. Lawrence who is the Bayelsa West senatorial standard bearer, charged the people to support his candidacy and that of other candidates contesting under the People Democratic Party – PDP, when the Bayelsa West campaign organisation took official campaign to every community and wards in Ekeremor local government area, engaging them in issue base campaign.
Lawrence who spoke in Ijaw language, stressed the need for Nigeria to be restructured. He said Atiku has promised to restructure Nigeria when elected. Adding that with a devolution of power, and when states have fair share of proceeds of their resources like it happened when cash crops like; palm produce (oil and Kernel), cocoa, rubber, timber. Groundnut e.t.c were exported, which provided the resources for financing economic development in Nigeria then.
