Commending security agencies, Governor Dickson said he is delighted at the fact that the reasons provided by the INEC chairman did not border on security operations.

In as much as we all condemn the postponement of the elections, all stakeholders must now come together to decide the way forward.” he said.

Governor Dickson called on the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, to announce an emergency meeting of the expanded executive members to discuss the details of the incident as well as proffer lasting solution; urging all Bayelsans not to be dismayed but to rather continue with their peaceful consultations and prepare to come out en masse to vote on Saturday.
