Bight Newspaper reports that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, inaugurated 23 new judges of the Federal High Court on Wednesday.

The inauguration took place at the Supreme Court Annex in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

In his charge, Justice Ariwoola urged judges in the country to always stick to the application of constitutional provisions in administering judgement in each case assigned to them.

Ensuing the supremacy Of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the CJN added that despite several media attacks on the judiciary, public opinion, no matter how serious, cannot override nor supercede the constitution of the country.
