…Says His Appointment Is A Call To Serve

YENAGOA – Comr. Ebilade Ekerefe has expressed his profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson for the privilege to serve in his led Restoration Government as a “Special Adviser (SA).

The one time treasurer of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Central Zone, Comr. Ebilade in a statement made available to newsmen in Yenagoa on Friday 26th July, 2019, thanked the Governor for finding him worthy to serve in his cabinet in such an advance capacity; “Special Adviser”. Adding that the appointment has further underscored his faith that Gov Henry Seriake Dickson is truly committed to creating rooms for youths to participate in the governance of this state

The statement reads; “Words are insufficient to appreciate Gov Seriake Henry Dickson for finding me worthy to serve in government as Special Adviser.

“Ordinarily, this appointment would not have been possible without the efforts of my leader Hon. Richman Samuel Endakwe (Dir. of Domestic Affairs, govt house), my good friend and elder brother, Hon. Barr. Tare Porri (Member, BSHA), Hon. Alfred Kemepade (Sec. Gen. IYC), (ADC to our beloved Governor), Ebi Okoyan (PSO to our amiable Governor), Randy Awolowo (Special Adviser), Kennedy Olorogun (Chairman, IYC) and others who also prayed and supported by one way or the other for this appointment to scale through.

“For those of you who know, I’ve dedicated over a decade of my life in the struggle for social justice and equality and I never envisaged that a time would come soonest when I would be giving an opportunity to serve our dear state in the capacity as a Special Adviser. I feel so humbled and this had further underscored my faith that Gov Henry Seriake Dickson is truly committed to creating rooms for youths to participate in the governance of this state. This is novel and I can’t thank you enough Sir!

“However, beyond the salutations, I know this appointment comes with allot of responsibilities and I shall therefore discharge my duties to the admiration of all, particularly the youths.
