…Urges Voters To Come Out En Masse

Former Spokesperson to Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Bemigho Reno Omokri has called on all registered voters across Nigerians to come out en masse to vote in the rescheduled elections this week Saturday 23rd February, 2019. He made the called a moment ago via series of tweets saying that he read how most Nigerians expressed their frustration and disappointment over the postponed elections by INEC, having travelled to their wards and polling units in readiness to exercise their franchises.

Mr. Omokri in a statement via his twitter handle said that, he volunteered to provide buses to and fro in four (4) of the geopolitical zones for those who had traveled to their communities – polling units to vote at the last Saturday polls but were frustrated by the elections’ postponement, and may not have the resources to go back to their communities again, to vote next Saturday.

His words: “I read on my TL (Timeline) many Nigerians who say they traveled to vote and were frustrated by the postponement and cant afford to travel again. God willing, I‘ll provide buses to and fro 4 of the geopolitical zones for such people IRRESPECTIVE of how you intend to vote.” he said.

Omokri used medium to charged the Nigerian electorates never to be discouraged or frustrated, alleging that “it is the intention of President @MBuhari, in instigating the postponement, to frustrate voters and cause a low voter turnout. We must not allow that to happen.” he said.

He called on other wealthy Nigerians to help facilitate a high turnout by providing buses, which he hashtagged “Buses For Democracy” to ALL Nigerians, to vote wherever they are registered in the next Saturday elections.

Omokri advised that, the buses will be for only Nigerians with valid voter’s card, irrespective of their political party.

“This is not about PDP or APC. This is about Nigeria. The buses I provide will be for any Nigerian citizen with a valid voter card. I am prepared to even ferry passengers in these buses even if they will all vote for @MBuhari. No one should frustrate voters, he said.
