Arts speak for many things – Steve Azaiki

Prof. Steve Azaiki, an influential member representing the people of Yenagoa – Kolokumo/Opokumo Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives, has asserted that “arts speak for so many people and for so many things”.

Azaiki made the asserted as reacted started trailing a sexual artwork among other artworks spatially positioned in his Yenagoa residential home which he unveiled on social media days ago.

The erudite Professor was caught in Camera posing at his bedroom with an artwork in which a woman who’s completely naked, induced her male counterpart who probably could not control himself. But he says, “Arts Speak For So Many People And For So Many Things“. That, in most cases only the painter can actually interpret what his/her artwork says.

However, while some folks had a fulfilled day viewing the art, others are of the view that the art promotes immorality, which is not in the best interest of society.

But, Steve Azaiki argued that, “Arts speak for so many people and for so many things.

As such, “It is left for the viewer to interpret it the way he sees it because in many cases like in this one the author is not there to explain the painting.

“I think the best way is to enjoy the beauty of it and to see it positively.” he added.
