LAGOS- Bight Newspaper reports that Marlian Records owner, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has arrived Lagos to assist in the ongoing investigation of the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.
Fashola made this known in a post on Social Media on Tuesday, stating that he would be meeting with the police.
“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole.
“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.” He stated.
In a latest development, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed that Naira Marley is in custody for interrogation.
Recall Bight Newspaper had reported that Naira Marley had stated his readiness to assist relevant agencies with the investigation into his former Signee’s death.
That was exactly two weeks after Mohbad was reported dead on September 12 at 27.
