Buhari Eulogises Gov. Ambode’s Developmental Strides
BIGHT NEWS – President Muhammadu Buhari has eulogised the developmental strides of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode. He commended the outgoing Governor on Wednesday when he visited the state to commission the new Oshodi Transport Interchange; the Mass Transit Medium and High capacity public buses and the reconstructed Murtala Mohammed International Airport
President Buhari applauded the Governor for executing infrastructural projects in Lagos State, adding that the projects perfectly aligned with the efforts of the Federal Government to improve the country’s infrastructure especially in the transport sector.
The the President enjoined the people of Lagos State to support Governor Ambode. He added that he has “performed satisfactorily” and should be commended for his contributions to the growth and development of State.
“Your Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has performed satisfactorily and we should all commend him for his contributions to the growth and development of Lagos State”, the president stated.
President Buhari in the course of his visit commissioned the new Oshodi Transport Interchange, the Mass Transit Buses and the Murtala Mohammed International Airport road.
The projects were executed and completed by the Lagos State Government. The President said the projects would provide jobs for the people of Lagos State at all level.
“The new Oshodi Transport Interchange; the Mass Transit Medium and High capacity public buses and the reconstructed Murtala Mohammed International Airport Road by Lagos State Government clearly demonstrate the need to continue to provide high impact projects for the development of infrastructure and opportunities for job creation at all levels”, the President said.
