AKENFA – Bight News reports that a mother of four children, have been gruesomely killed in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State, by unknown suspected miscreants. The young woman who is in her late 20s identified as Glory Omo-Ohwo, hailed from Oreba/ Uhweru community in Delta State.

Bight News gathered that the deceased, a resident in Akenfa -I Epie Community, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, who is a fish seller, woke up at about 5am on Tuesday 29th January 2019, to smoke some of the fishes she had purchased to retail at the popular periodic Mbiama market.

But she got missing when her children woke up at dawn to found a leg of their mother’s slippers, with her whereabout unknown. Her husband had travelled for outside menial jobs.

Sadly, her lifeless body was later found this morning in an uncompleted building next to the compound she resides, with her skull badly damaged.

A neighbour who pleaded anonymity told Bight News that the woman has been a very quiet and hardworking house wife in their neighborhood. But alleged that she must have be raped before being killed by desperate miscreants she (deceased) identified.

Her words:

“Glory was a very quiet and very hardworking woman. Nobody knows those who are responsible for her untimely death. But her body look like someone raped before bad boys damaged her head. Maybe she recognized one of them” she said.

At the time of filing this report, men of the Nigerian police from Akenfa division has visited the scene of the incident for investigation and further actions.

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased and neighbors have called on the Nigerian police to urgently do the needful to uncover those responsible for the dastardly act.
