Multiple reports have it that, a suspected thug met his end this afternoon at the hands of irate youths in Ikono local government in Akwa Ibom state.
The unfortunate thug sees his life aborted with fire in an alleged electoral violence act, being one of the alleged APC hoodlums who evaded Ward 10 Unit 9 of Ikono and attempted to make away with election materials in the same local government Area of Akwa Ibom state this afternoon.
According to the reports, some thugs alleged to be working for the All Progressives Congress (APC), tried to hijack electoral materials after invading Ikono Ward 10 Unit 9 in the local government area of the state.
The thugs allegedly shut four people in the course of the invasion in the area which their death or survival are yet to be confirmed as at the time this report is written.
Bight news gathered that upon their attempt to make away with the sensitive materials, one of the thugs was captured and set ablaze by the irate youths as a scape goat.
