Breaking: Siasia’s mother, others regain From kidnappers’ Den

The 80-year-old mother of former Super Eagle skipper and coach, Samson Siasia, has been released by her abductors.

The abductors of Mrs. Beauty Siasia, mother of ex-Super Eagles coach and striker, Samson Siasia, had demanded N70 million for her release.

This is the second time in four years that gunmen have abducted Siasia’s mother and demanded a ransom.

Madam Beauty Ogere Siasia was first kidnapped in November 2015 and was released 12 days after a ransom was paid.

The two other victims simply identified as Seiyefa Sami and Seleke-Ere Dounana were reportedly asked to go home at the early hours of Sunday after being in the kidnappers’ den with Madam Siasia who was held for seventy-seven days.

Confirming the release, the Bayelsa state Police Command’s spokesman, SP Asinim Butswat, said the Commissioner of Police has already visited the victim as investigation is still ongoing to track and apprehend the criminals.

“The Bayelsa State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that Mrs Beauty Siasia ‘f’ 80 years old, who was kidnapped on 15 July, 2019 has been released in the early hours of today, 29 September, 2019.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Uche Anozia, has visited Mrs Beauty Siasia at her residence at Odoni Community at about 1000hours on 29 September, 2019 to debrief her.

“The victim is in stable condition and has volunteered useful information that will assist the Police in the investigation. “The Command will continue to partner with members of the public to ensure a safer Bayelsa state,” he said
