…Appreciates Gov. Dickson, For Supports

Earlier this morning, Mr. Joshua Oboshenure was joined by his families and friends at St. John Catholic Church, Egbo – Warri, Delta State, to profoundly thank God over the landslide victory of his boss, Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, in the just concluded Bayelsa West senatorial district election.

Mr. Oboshenure, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to the immediate past commissioner of works and infrastructure, had vowed to appreciate God when he ensured the victory of Mr. Ewhrudjakpo in the keenly contested poll in Bayelsa West.

Recall that, Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, was declared winner of the just concluded senatorial polls in Bayelsa West by INEC returning officer Dr. Raimi Lasisi, after polling a total of 49,912 votes to defeat his closest rival Mr  Mathew Karimo who scored 20,219 votes.

While expressing gratitude to God during the Thanksgiving Service, Oboshenure said he is particularly grateful to God for ensuring that no single life was lost during the elections, adding that the victory of Mr Lawrence was orchestrated by the divine intervention of Almighty God.

“I am very grateful to God today because he caused my brother and boss, Mr Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the senator elect, Bayelsa West, to win the election. I thank God because he protected all our supporters and even during the elections, no life was lost. It’s the Lord’s doing.

“Before the elections I vowed to God and he indeed answered our prayers. That is why I am here with my family and friends to appreciate God for all he has done,” Joshua said.

Also, Joshua appreciated Gov. Dickson and leaders in Bayelsa West for finding Lawrence worthy to serve the senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate. He used the medium to commit the senator elect into the hand of God, asking him to take him to greater heights in due season, to have his name glorified always.

Earlier, the officiating minister, Rev. Israel Inaede while congratulating Mr. Joshua over the victory of Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo at the poll, admonished Christians to be cautious of what they proclaim with their tongue. He advised faithfuls to always bless others with their tongue, stressing that the tongue has power to kill and save.

He chastised Christians who instead of blessing their neighbors with their God given tongue would assassinate characters of their fellow human beings. He enjoined them to repent of their sins for them to have a place in the kingdom of God.
