…Pays First Inspection Visit To His Commission

ASABA- Bight News correspondence reports that the Delta State governor Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has apportioned portfolios to the 17 newly sworn in commissioners who took their oath of office on Tuesday at the Event Centre, in Asaba the Delta State capital.

The Delta State governor made this known during the inauguration and swearing in of board memebers and Directors at Asaba yesterday.

We gathered that Olorogun Barrister Arthur Akpowowo who is seemingly the ace commissioner, was assigned to the ministry of Urban Renewal.

Other commissioners’ portfolios as assigned by the Delta state governor are as follows:

Fidelis Tilijie – Finance
Barry Gbe – Economic Planning
Julius Egbedi – Agriculture
Churchill Amagada – Lands & Survey
Lawrence Ejiofor – Culture & Tourism
Martin Okonta – Water Res Dev
Ifeanyi Egwunyega – Youth Dev
Mordi Ononye – Health
Chris Onogba – Environment
Ovie Oghore – Transport
Emma Amgbaduba – Oil & Gas
Gbubemi Ikolo – Tech Education
Mathew Tsekiri – Science & Tech
Henry Sakpra – Special Duties (GH)
Charles Aniagwu – Information.

The new commissioner for Urban Renewal Olorogun Barr Arthur Akpowowo during his inspection visit to the ministry of Urban Renewal .

 

Bight News also sourced that, the new commissioner for Urban Renewal Olorogun Barr. Arthur Akpowowo has resumed duty almost immediately after given his assignment, as he pays an inspection visit to the ministry of Urban Renewal prior to his official resumption of duty.

Barrister Akpowowo however expressed satisfaction and gratitude to the executive governor of Delta State Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as he reiterated on the assurance of finishing strong by the grace of God.
