Nigeria Police Launches Manhunt For Kidnappers Of Mrs Siasia

Bight News reports that the Nigeria Police Force Bayelsa State Command has confirmed the kidnap of Mrs. Beauty Siasia, the mother of the former Super Eagle Coach, Samson Siasia.
A statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat in Yenagoa affirmed that, “On 15 July, 2019 at about 0200hours, unknown gunmen who were heavily armed came through the waterways of the River Nun and invaded the residence of one Mrs Beauty Siasia, ‘f’ 80 years in the riverine village of Odoni, Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State and whisked her away through the waterways to an unknown destination.
The statement add that the Police has in collaboration with security stakeholders launched manhunt to unravel the kidnappers and subsequent release of the 80 years old mother of the former Super Eagle coach.
“The Commissioner of Police Bayelsa State command CP Uche Anozia and the command’s Tactical Team has visited the scene of the crime.
“The command in collaboration with other security stakeholders have launched manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators and rescue the victim. Investigation is ongoing,” the Police spokesman said.
Recalled that Bight News had reported earlier that the mother of Samson Sisia, Nigerian former football striker and the former head coach of the Nigerian Men’s National football team was reportedly kidnapped early this morning in Odoni Community of Sagama Local Council Area of Bayelsa State.
This is the second time Siasia’s mother is being kidnapped in her home town, Odoni. She was first kidnapped 4 years ago, as at the time Siasia was in Gambia preparing the Under-23 team for the then Under-23 Africa qualifier for 2016 Rio Olympic. A situation that thrown him into confusion.
